The government also plans to increase the number of permanent residents through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) to about 3,41,000 by the end of 2021. In the line of these plans, more invitations are expected to be issued over the coming months. This development shall prove a lot beneficial to individuals and families planning to get permanent residency in Australia.

- Educational qualifications should be such as to be fit to work in Canada.

Understanding the CRS Cut-off
Comprehensive Ranking System is the way one is given cut-offs while applying to Express Entry Draw. The candidate gets a score out of 1200 which is used to benchmark one applicant against the other. The CRS has been part of the Express Entry Draw since its inception in the year 2015.
The CRS is designed such as to calculate the candidate's chances of being economically successful during his or her stay in Canada. Thus getting a good CRS score becomes all the more essential in order to acquire your dreams to settle in Canada. To enter into the Express Entry Draw pool, the candidate must be eligible under one of the programs viz-a-viz Federal Skilled Worker Class or Canadian Experience Class or Federal Skilled Trades Class. A candidate must obtain at least the cut-off CRS to become eligible for PR.
If a candidate has provincial nomination obtained through on the Express Entry-aligned Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) streams, he or she receives an additional 600 CRS points along with an invitation to apply for the next draw from the pool.
If a candidate has a high proficiency in English or French, a single candidate can get up to 260 points while a couple can get 270 points. Since there are only a limited number of ITAs, hence it is always a good idea to increase your CRS score. If you are applying as a couple, check if your partner can get a higher score and if so then apply under their name. Increased work experience under NOC 0/A/B skill level can also increase your chances for PR.
